Create a New Project

Projects can be created from either the Kumoy web app or the QGIS plugin.

Create a Project (Web)#

1. Log in to Kumoy.

2. Click + Create new project in the top right of the Dashboard or Projects tab.

   Note

   If + Create new project is not displayed, you may not belong to a team where you can create projects. Create a team, add the user who will create projects to the team, and then check again.

   

3. Select the Team, enter the Project name and Project description, then click Create.

   

4. The project is created and you will be redirected to the project page.

   

Create a Project (QGIS)#

1. Open QGIS, right-click Kumoy in the Browser panel, and click Select Project.

   

2. Click the + New Project button.

   

3. Select the Team, enter the project Name and Description, then click OK.

   

4. When the success message appears, click OK.

   

5. The project is created and can now be selected from the list.
