Load, Save, and Delete Vectors

From the Browser panel, you can load vector data saved in Kumoy. You can save edits and style changes to a loaded layer back to Kumoy using the standard QGIS workflow.

Load a Vector#

1. Under Kumoy in the Browser panel, right-click the vector you want to load and select Add to map. You can also double-click the vector name to add it.

   

2. The vector layer is added to QGIS and appears on the map canvas.

   

Edit Vector and Save#

After editing attributes or geometry of a Kumoy vector, you can save the changes as follows.

1. Click Save Layer Edits in the toolbar.

   

2. The changes are saved to Kumoy.

Delete a Vector#

Caution

Deleted vectors cannot be restored. Double-check before you proceed.

1. In the Browser panel, right-click the vector you want to delete and select Delete Vector.

   

2. When the message "Are you sure you want to delete the vector?" appears, click Yes.

   

3. "Vector deleted successfully." appears in the message bar, and the vector disappears from the Browser panel.
